Using database program
After installing the program it is
possible to start it in the same ways as any other Windows application. It may
be chosen from the Start menu or Explorer may be used to find the executable
file and then to start it by double-clicking. The executable is called
‘ExpDBase.exe’ and is located in the directory which has been chosen during the
installation procedure. The program icon is shown above.
The name displayed at the top of the main window shows the fully qualified (i.e. with drive and path) name of the database file in use. The program remembers the last file used and it opens it automatically when started the next time. If the program is used for the first time or the previously used file cannot be found then the title bar reads ‘Experiment Database’.
