When the Start calculations check box is checked then each data file after saving it is also sent for asynchronous calculations according to the current setting defined on the Spectrum folder. However, it is advised to use this option cautiously as in this case the beginning of the transient has to be removed automatically without visual transient inspection (this action has to be configured and enabled on the Customise form). If the file is sent for calculations without proper removal of the beginning of the transient then unforeseen numerical errors can appear or erroneous results obtained. If the data files are not sent for calculations during the scripts execution then they can be read one by one, processed, i.e. the beginning signal sample found (use the Update beginning menu on the main program window) and calculated after all scripts from the list are executed. If the number of points necessary to be taken away from each transient in the series is known and is the same for all of them then one can set this number of points on the Customise form, the Configuration menu, and send all the transients from the series using the send Previous data option.
Some additional pause (set in seconds) between subsequent scripts can be forced. Note, during this pause all settings stored in the previous script are still effective, thus this function cannot be used for the temperature stabilisation according to the set point saved in the next script. On top of the pause there is a fixed dead time of 5s between subsequent scripts. This dead time can be removed by checking the Scripts with no dead time checkbox on the Customise form/Other tab.
One can make the program to return to the current configuration file and consequently, to all starting settings of the system (including the set temperature) by checking the corresponding check box at the bottom of the Script form.
