The process of data averaging can be stopped any time either by pressing the Stop button. For long transients the reaction of the system might not be instantaneous. In the system version 3.2, when the UMIST card is used for the acquisition process, stopping the averaging process results in a lost of the data being recorded at the time. For other acquisition cards a partial averaged transient can be obtained.
