The Experiment Database program does not need a separate installation if the whole Laplace Transient Processing system is installed, with all its features. It will be installed by the same routine in the same folder as all the rest of the system programs and routines.
Beside the main executable ExpDBase.exe there are installed files comprising Experiment Database help (HTML); they are written to the separate folder, by default '..\HTML(base)', in the same directory where the executable is stored.
Separate, full Experiment Database installation is provided for those who need to install only the database program in order to manipulate and analyze data measured on other systems. In such a case all support libraries and files are installed as well, together with the HTML help and database template (empty).mdb.
